Ok those are from the natural park “La colline aux marmottes”, but there is a few of their cousins wandering around in the mountain.
There is a huge polemic here in the Pyrenees because bears disappeared a decade ago, and the actual ones come from Slovenia.
The problem is the sheep are no longer kept during the summer by men and big dogs so bears kills lot of them.
Bears are a good topic to avoid in the Pyrenees.

Early october and the snow is here already.
The Estaing lake is on the Pyrenees mountain, and one can reach it by car, so in summer it is not really interesting as there is tons of people.
But despite the weather it is a nice place to visit in this season.
