This artificial lake was found in the middle of nowhere, north of Carcassonne and close of the castles of Lastours.
The colour was beautiful in the winter afternoon sun.

Lastours is a small village a few kilometres north of the medieval city of Carcassonne.
We were lucky enough to got a sunny winter day with absolutely nobody beside us. This is very good because this place is quite crowded in summer.
