Immediately below the Pont Napoleon is this stream.
The cliff below the bridge are almost vertical but some trees are hanging in beautiful autumn colours.

The Gorges de Pierrefitte are a narrow path that leads to the valley of Luz St Sauveur, Gavarnie and Barèges when one is coming from Lourdes.

Sadly the only interesting time to visit this place is off-season as it is more than crowded during the summer with tons of people.

Early october and the snow is here already.
The Estaing lake is on the Pyrenees mountain, and one can reach it by car, so in summer it is not really interesting as there is tons of people.
But despite the weather it is a nice place to visit in this season.
