Thu ,01/07/2010Massive thunderstorm hit the Pyrenees mountains hours ago.
Consequently, this small village dam in the valley is quite saturated.

Nice day and colourful buildings.
Deep blue sky, little moon, and pastel colors at dusk for this very beautiful sunset over a small French village and in the background the shadow of the Pyrenees mountains…
Wow !
Clear winter day at dusk with a great view over the Pyrenees mountains.
No idea about the name of the village !
One of my personal favourite to date.
Crystal clear day, good light, quiet water, nobody around…
Wow !
Just before dark, it was freezing (-7°C).
This steeple is funny because I did not find any church attached to it.
It is just standing like that, in the medieval French village of Sorèze.
Saint Jean de Luz is a nice little village from the Basque Country.
Really close to Spain, the best time to go there is definitely a sunny day around fall or spring because on summer it gets really really crowded with tourists !
Typical house. Many of them can be found in Ariège, French Pyrénées.
Everything is made of stones, including the roof.
And people actually live here !
Nice little village on a crest.
Ariege, France.
