Chateaux de Lastours, première mise en ligne par SebastienToulouse.

This artificial lake was found in the middle of nowhere, north of Carcassonne and close of the castles of Lastours.

The colour was beautiful in the winter afternoon sun.

Who knows what gave it the colour ?

Chateaux de Lastours, première mise en ligne par SebastienToulouse.

Two of the four castles of Lastours.

Lastours is a small village a few kilometres north of the medieval city of Carcassonne.

We were lucky enough to got a sunny winter day with absolutely nobody beside us. This is very good because this place is quite crowded in summer.

Every single shutter I have seen in this city are white, so these really stood out !

Week-end à Bordeaux, première mise en ligne par SebastienToulouse.

The statue at the top is six meters high.

Sadly, most of the building has still to be cleaned and looks really dark.
